Ordering from Frankenskein Yarn Company couldn’t be any easier.

To order, simply hover your mouse over an item and click ‘Add to Basket’ or ‘Details’. Choosing ‘Add to Basket’ will automatically add your item to the basket. By choosing ‘Details’, the site will take you to the product page where a short description of the product will be provided. If you wish to purchase this product, click ‘Add to Cart’.

Once the item has been added to your cart, you can hover your mouse over the shopping cart icon at the top of the page to see a thumbnail of the product or products that have been added to your cart.

The checking out process is pretty easy and the site will guide you through this process. To calculate shipping, add in some details and the shipping estimates will be displayed. However, should you find that you don’t get along with this new fangled technology and just want to send me an email with the items that you wish to purchase, please do so and I will send an invoice to you within 24 hours. The invoice must be paid within 5 working days or the sale will be cancelled and the items will be put back up for sale.

All products will require a signature on delivery and the shipping costs reflect this charge. For more information about shipping charges, please see Postage and Delivery.

My payment processor is Stripe, which is an alternative to another popular payment processor. Just like the more mainstream payment processor, I do not have access to your payment details. The only information that I will see is the delivery address and that the order has been paid for. I have moved over to Stripe as they will refund some of the fees should your order be cancelled or returned for whatever reason and won’t leave either of us out of pocket.

Shipping and Customs Charges

Shipping is currently limited to the United Kingdom and the European Union. However, the shopping cart will allow you to check out for your country, but you won’t be asked for payment on your purchase until I’ve sent you an invoice quoting the shipping charges. The invoice must be paid within 5 working days or the sale becomes null and void and the products will be put back up for sale.

Any customs charges that may be due on your purchase are solely the responsibility of the buyer and not Frankenskein Yarn Company. Please ensure that you have read the maximum amount that you can import before customs charges are applicable.

Returns or Cancellations

If you wish to cancel or return your order (or just part of your order), this request needs to be completed in writing by filling in our Cancellations and Returns form or by sending an email to contact@frankenskein.co.uk. Please be sure to quote your order number and your reason for wishing to cancel or return your order. I will then make arrangements with you to return the parcel to me. Items must be in unused and original condition.

Any shipping costs for returning the order will be the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping costs associated with the original order will not be refunded. If you have any questions about this, please read the Terms and Conditions of shopping with Frankenskein Yarn Company.
